Interests and Career Goals

With combined IM/psychiatry training, I hope to partner with patients with persistent mental illness to improve their overall well-being and decrease the health disparities experienced by those with psychiatric illness. I am particularly interested in working with underserved and LGBTQ+ populations.

Favorite Pastimes

I love reading, embroidery, hiking with my dog Luna, adding to my plant collection, and trying new restaurants.

Strengths of the Program

I was impressed by the kindness, intellectual curiosity, and empathy for patients displayed by Duke's faculty and residents, in addition to the opportunities to work with diverse patient populations.
