The Duke Area Health Education Center (AHEC) seeks to help develop the behavioral health workforce in North Carolina through continuing education and technical assistance to providers across North Carolina.
Programs are offered through the nine regional AHEC locations across North Carolina, with a focus on disseminating and implementing evidence-based practices for rural and underserved populations. The program also sponsors educational experiences for trainees in community-based behavioral health settings.
