Strong emphasis on community, inclusivity, and world-class training. I was particularly inspired by the program's commitment to public and community psychiatry, and the supportive environment fostered by both faculty and residents. The mentorship I encountered during my interview process, including the leadership's transparency and warmth, left a lasting impression.
Areas of Prior Research
Healthcare disparities in underserved populations, access to palliative care for psychiatrically incapacitated patients, and systemic barriers faced by first-generation students throughout their medical training.
