Spending quality time with my family, exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, traveling, relaxing at the beach, and playing with my goldendoodle puppy, Leo
Strengths of the Program
Strong emphasis on community, inclusivity, and world-class training. I was particularly inspired by the program's commitment to public and community psychiatry, and the supportive environment fostered by both faculty and residents. The mentorship I encountered during my interview process, including the leadership's transparency and warmth, left a lasting impression.
Areas of Prior Research
Healthcare disparities in underserved populations, access to palliative care for psychiatrically incapacitated patients, and systemic barriers faced by first-generation students throughout their medical training.
