Interests & Career Goals

I am especially interested in early childhood development, the parent-child dyad, and empowering individuals on their parenting journey. I will strive to make healthy, sustainable parenting more accessible. I plan on pursuing a career in academic medicine.

Favorite Pastimes

I love to be outside: going for a leisure walk, an intense hike, or just hanging out at the park with my husband and baby. As a family, we love to hunt down the best ingredients to cook (my husband) and eat (me and my little one)!

Why I Chose Duke

I completed my residency a few hours away in eastern North Carolina. I emailed Dr. Chandrasekhar and she was so welcoming. She introduced me to multiple faculty members and I was able to get involved on a research project starting my intern year. The collegiality that the program has to offer is unmatched.
