Favorite Pastimes: Knitting, crocheting, painting, baking, cooking, traveling, reading, writing, and spending time with loved ones.
Strengths of the Program: The people and the location. Everyone I have encountered has been wonderful, kind, passionate, and genuine. It is an all around great place to work. Living in Durham has been an unexpected bonus. It is a lovely, quirky place, and all the food I have tried so far has been amazing. I am very happy here!
Areas of Prior Research: Law, history, and psychiatry; human rights; the HIV epidemic in Ukraine; and murine behavioral research.
