Interests and career goals: My interest is in geriatric medicine and it is my goal to offer holistic care for aging patients from both a physical and mental health perspective. I want to help my patients maintain what is most important to them while aging with dignity.
Favorite Pastimes: I enjoy playing board games (specifically Dune: Imperium, Dungeons & Dragons, and Root), exercising through running and weight lifting, and watching movies (my favorites are Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein and Dune). My other favorite pastime is trying new coffee shops around the Triangle. So far, my favorite has been Narrative Coffee.
Strengths of the Program: Training at Duke has allowed me to connect and learn from individuals from many different backgrounds and perspectives. Having the ability to lean on and learn with my world-class colleagues and mentors has allowed me to grow as a physician faster than I ever imagined.
