Interests and Career Goals: Interests include first-break psychosis, neurodivergence, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and interventional psychiatry. Career goal is to provide full-spectrum psychiatric care to rural and underserved areas of North Carolina.
Favorite Pastimes: Spending time with my family and friends, playing pickleball, hiking in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, reading, going to the beach, and exploring new places.
Strengths of the Program: I was drawn to Duke for its dedication to providing top-quality, research-driven, and patient-centered care. I am particularly excited to train with and learn from the world-class teaching faculty with a diverse array of clinical interests.
Areas of Prior Research: Blood-brain barrier, delusional parasitosis, and quality improvement.
