Interests and Career Goals: Clinical and scholarly interests include integrated psychiatry, adolescent mental health, and the impact of health disparities on access to psychiatric care. My work includes projects exploring health equity in marginalized communities and youth perspectives on the value of mental health.
Favorite Pastimes: Local and international travel, trivia, spin/cycling, gastronomy, serendipitous shopping, and spending time with my family.
Strengths of the Program: Duke University has a very strong alumni network, many of whom I've met who have graduated from the child psychiatry fellowship. The institution appears to attract authentic trainees and members of the field from varied backgrounds and perspectives, which adds to the learning experience. There are ample opportunities to explore academic interest and expand upon personal and professional goals.
Areas of Prior Research: Health disparities, young adult psychiatry, and substance use.
