Zack Williams is an autism researcher and MD/PhD candidate in neuroscience and hearing and speech sciences at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He is interested in better understanding the clinical characteristics of disorders of sound tolerance, including misophonia, hyperacusis, and phonophobia, particularly as they manifest in people on the autism spectrum. With a strong background in psychometrics and questionnaire design, Zack has been working with the CMER team to help develop and validate a suite of clinical measures to characterize and quantify misophonia symptoms.
