Rehnuma Ahmed (she/her) is an MPH candidate at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health with a concentration in Maternal, Child, and Family Health. She is doing her practicum project with the Duke Center for Girls & Women with ADHD. 

Prior to graduate school, Rehnuma attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an undergraduate and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2024. During that time, she focused on family support through the Refugee Support Center in Chapel Hill as well as conducting research with the UNC Greensboro Popova Research Group on marginalized women’s experiences in education and neurodivergence in higher education. She currently serves as a medical scribe for UNC Pediatrics, specifically in adolescent medicine related to menstrual challenges, mental health, and eating disorders. With her experiences, Rehnuma seeks to support adolescent health and neurodivergence surrounding girls as a clinical provider. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, fostering cats, and cheering on the Durham Bulls!
