Erin Burns is an undergraduate at Duke University (class of 2026) majoring in Neuroscience, with a certificate in Decision Sciences and a minor in Philosophy. She volunteers as the social media coordinator for the Duke Center for Girls and Women with ADHD, working closely with the rest of the digital content team to help the center reach a broad audience and better educate this understudied population and the general public. She is particularly interested in the comorbid disorders that may arise with ADHD, such as anxiety and depression. She also volunteers in the Cogan Lab, where she works alongside a graduate student researching cognitive stability and flexibility - an area of study that has clinical implications for ADHD.
