Dresden Benke is an undergraduate at Duke University (Class of 2029) majoring in Neuroscience, with minors in Earth and Climate Sciences and Writing and Rhetoric. She has contributed to projects with the Duke Center for Girls and Women with ADHD, where she has focused on creating content that broadens public understanding of ADHD, particularly in females. Her work emphasizes challenging common misconceptions and promoting more accurate, accessible conversations about how ADHD shapes everyday experiences, from academic performance to personal relationships. She is especially interested in the relationship between ADHD and memory, including the cognitive mechanisms underlying attention and information retention.
