Christeanna Richardson

Christeanna Richardson is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner studying in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at Duke University. One of the driving forces behind her doctoral work is the recognition that too often, girls with ADHD are overlooked or misunderstood due to longstanding gender biases in diagnosis and treatment.

Her passion for increasing awareness and recognition of ADHD in girls and women through research, advocacy efforts, and innovative clinical practice led her to the Duke Center for Girls and Women with ADHD, first as a provider seeking knowledge, then as a member of the Champion’s Circle, and now as a volunteer assisting with website content coordination.

She is committed to changing the narrative surrounding ADHD in girls and women by promoting earlier identification, evidence-based care, and compassionate support for these females and their families. She is extremely proud to be a part of the Duke Center for Girls and Women with ADHD and for the opportunity to expand her impact through their mission.
