Research Assistant
Alec graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Utah in the fall of 2019. He hopes to apply to a masters program in mental health counseling and use his experience as a research assistant to inform better mental health interventions. He is particularly interested in stress reduction techniques such as mindfulness based cognitive therapy, and how these interventions can promote infant/caregiver well-being as well as mitigate the negative effects of emotional dysregulation. In his free time he likes to do yoga, snowboard, and go hiking with his dog.
