Interests and Career Goals
I’m interested in providing and eventually developing tobacco cessation interventions that can reduce racial health disparities. It would be wonderful to provide clinical services and conduct research that reaches underrepresented and underserved populations, especially Black and/or African Americans who carry a disproportionate health burden.
Favorite Pastimes
I enjoy sightseeing with my fiancé and terrier mix, baking and sewing.
Why I Chose Duke
The clinical training opportunities at Duke were unmatched for breadth and depth, and they fit well with my particular interest in working with historically underserved populations. I was thrilled about the program’s emphasis on diversity within the training program but also within the department.
