Katherine Ramos Receives Career Development Award

Assistant professor Katherine Ramos, PhD, was one of three Duke faculty members accepted recently to the Duke Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) KL2 program. The KL2 is a mentored career development award that provides three years of protected time, research funds, and career development training.

Duke KL2 scholars will leave the program equipped with the skills to be successful, independent investigators, making contributions across the spectrum of clinical and translational science. Ramos' project title is "A Patient-Caregiver Behavioral Intervention for Older Adults with Cancer and Mild Cognitive Impairment," and her primary mentor is Laura Porter, PhD, professor in psychiatry & behavioral sciences.
