Please join us for the next presentation in our 2021-2022 Duke Center for Autism Speaker Series! Our speaker will be Staci Bilbo, Ph.D., the Haley Family Professor of Psychology & Neuroscience and Professor of Neurobiology and Cell Biology at Duke University. Dr. Bilbo's lab investigates how environmental challenges during the perinatal period impact the immune system, with the goal of understanding the important role of the immune system during brain development and the ways in which immune activation during early brain development can affect the later-life outcomes of neural function, immune function, mood, and cognition.
