Please join us for our final presentation for the 2024-2025 academic year. Our presenter will be Danai Kasambira Fannin PhD, CCC-SLP, a licensed speech-language pathologist, associate professor in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at North Carolina Central University and adjunct associate professor in the Department of Head & Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Fannin has research interests in health and educational equity across the lifespan, and social determinants of early identification and service access for culturally and linguistically diverse children with developmental delays. Dr. Fannin also promotes dissemination of strategies to diversify the speech pathology and audiology workforce through enhanced recruitment and retention efforts. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
