Actor Melissa Gilbert Shares her Experience with Misophonia
At Duke CMER, we are dedicated to increasing awareness and advocacy for Misophonia. We do this in many different ways:
- We encourage people with Misophonia and/or their loved ones to reach out to us via email so we can assist them in advocating for themselves or their loved one
- We host a free quarterly Webinar Series to educate the public
- We provide Clinician Training to educate clinicians and other healthcare providers
- We regularly update our website and Instagram with resources and news regarding Misophonia
- We conduct research to continually expand our knowledge and understanding of how to best help individuals with Misophonia
- We reach out to different organizations, health care providers, and other professionals to share our resources and spread the word about Misophonia
- We work with the media to shed light on Misophonia (see New York Times article)
