Duke Psychiatry Welcomes New Learners

Each year, the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is privileged to welcome a diverse group of trainees from across the disciplines of psychiatry and clinical psychology. The department welcomed 13 new residents matching into our residency training programs, the Categorical Psychiatry Residency and the combined Medicine-Psychiatry Residency. This group of residents will join the education program in July alongside our 10 new clinical psychology interns announced in February and the 6 psychiatry fellows, 4 fellows specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and 2 specializing in Geriatric Psychiatry.

“We are pleased with the results of this year’s National Residency Match Day,” said Jane Gagliardi, MD, MHS, FACP, FAPA, Vice Chair for Education in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. “We had an outstanding year and are excited to have this diverse group of talented individuals.”
