Medical Psychology is a specialty where clinical psychologists provide short-term or continuing mental health and behavioral health diagnosis and care of individuals, couples and families. The practice of psychology can include, but is not limited to:  psychological testing, evaluation of neuropsychological functioning, counseling, psychotherapy, biofeedback, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of a number of emotional illnesses or disorders.  The goal is to help understand, prevent and relieve psychological distress and promote well-being and personal development.
