I am a Research Psychologist at the Durham VA Medical Center and Assistant Professor at the Duke University Medical Center, where I conduct research with the Traumatic Stress and Health Research Laboratory. I recently received a Career Development Award through the VA that provides training on technological innovations in behavioral interventions and funding to collect pilot data on an intervention combining Cognitive Processing Therapy for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) with evidence-based smoking cessation treatment to concurrently address both problems. I am primarily interested in the development and testing of mobile health interventions to address PTSD, smoking, alcohol use disorders, and other behavioral health problems.
