Research Interests:

My interests are in the assessment and treatment of individuals with chronic health conditions, primarily as it relates to the health of women, minorities, and geriatric populations.  I conduct psychological evaluations including diagnostic interviews and psychometric testing on patients with diverse medical and psychiatric disorders such as fibromyalgia, weight and diabetes management, sickle cell disease, rheumatoid arthritis, neuropathy, cancer, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.  Additionally, I perform evidenced based brief and long-term psychotherapy including pain coping skills training, biofeedback, CBT, and stress management on an outpatient basis.
