Research Interests:
Dr. Schlenger is a psychologist with research interests in psychiatric and substance abuse epidemiology and services research. His research work includes both large scale community epidemiologic studies and evaluations of a variety of service interventions. Much of his epidemiologic work has focused on post-traumatic stress disorder, and he has evaluated mental health and substance abuse service programs designed to serve a variety of populations, ranging from severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents to people with HIV/AIDS.
